VOLUNTARY WORK

Lui Lack, tú no tienes la culpa

Web Design & Development
About the project
Lui Lack, Tu no tienes la culpa is a short film that aims to fight sexual abuse among children. The film was written, produced and acted by a friend of mine, Stefan M. Mladenović. LuiLackfilm.com is a presentational website that addresses the issue of child abuse, gives an introduction to a set of characters and informs about the production.
My Contributions
As soon as I saw that Stefan M. Mladenović has lots of good material (photos, music, videos, etc.) for the project, I wanted to help him create a website where his audience can quickly see his work and bring more awareness to the issue of child abuse. I took the time to design, develop and maintain the website as well as monitor the usage for future improvements.
About the movie page
The project itself was created in the city of Niš, Serbia where an ambitious group of people helped to accomplish it. I intend to showcase all the hard work that was put on Lui Lack and help Artista De La Fe production to be representable and successful in the world. The aim is to have all the information about the film easily accessible to anyone, no matter which device users use.

Monitoring web analytics & Usability

As the film gets into more festivals, the analytics of the website's usage can give an overview of the user's interests and guide us to locations where the film could be represented.

Hotjar tool allows keeping an eye on the usability of the website. Using heatmaps and recordings of user interactions can help point to any mistakes or demands that users might have.

Development

The design of the website was supposed to be very basic using a simple HTML template. However, as more and more ideas were coming up I ended up redesigning and reimplementing it from scratch. Most of the work was put into UI design (in collaboration with the producer) and implementation of custom elements & styles.

Responsive Design

Knowing that internet users mostly use their portable devices to browse the internet, it was evident that Lui Lack needs to have a responsive design. Lui Lack audience will most likely be browsing the pages before or after the film screening on their phone, maybe at home in their cozy couch using their tablet. Luilack.com is ready for any device.

See it yourself

Experience the process of making the film, hear the soundtracks, learn about the characters and see what people write about Lui Lack. The museum is always open.
